Heat the air inside a 7 foot high colourful balloon with a 24" high gas flame and watch it take flight. The real gas flame is controlled by the visitor so they can experiment with the amount of heat it takes to get things going.

pedal a bicycle PEDAL A BICYCLE

Pedal a bike. Simple right!
Now try to do it by controlling four uncoordinated muscle groups connected to a pair of mechanical legs mounted on a bike. Try it and you quickly learn it's not quite so easy.

A visitor pedals a bicycle that is connected to a second bicycle. A complete anatomically correct skeleton is mounted on the second bicycle. As the visitor pedals, the skeleton pedals its bicycle revealing how our skeletal system appears as it performs this simple task.
